Adult Day Services

Adult day services are community-based centers designed to meet the needs of adults experiencing a decrease in physical, mental and/or social functioning. Adult day services are comprehensive, non-residential programs that provide a variety of health, social, and related support services in a structured setting. Services may include: skilled nursing, liaison with physicians, medication administration, incontinence management, personal care assistance, bathing, transportation, breakfast and lunch, rehabilitative therapies, foot care.

Our Resource Directory for LGBTQ older adults aims to help people looking for LGBTQ–welcoming services for themselves, a loved one or a client.  The Directory is not meant to endorse or guarantee the sensitivity of any provider. However, we do indicate which organizations and providers report having non-discrimination policies that specifically include sexual orientation (SO) and/or gender identity (GI). The Generations Aging with Pride logo  is indicated next to providers that have had one or more staff members attend our evidence-based training.
