Our first Community Conversation started at our center with George Dicks and 11 interested community members. Since then we’ve expanded to four locations and covered topics that range from ‘Friends Remembered’ to ‘Aging and Sexuality’ and ‘Not home – for the holidays’.
Our Community Conversations provide a consistent opportunity to meet and discuss issues that are relevant to our LGBTQIA+ community. It’s a great place meet new friends and have a voice on topics that impact you.
We hold these events at several locations in the Seattle Metro area. Attendees are free to discuss any topic in a judgement free and safe space. All senior LGBTQIA+ are welcome including their caregivers, friends, family, and allies. While others are welcome to participate, our communities’ voices will be prioritized and we hold a judgement free, safe space for all members.
