 GenPRIDE currently offers three fitness classes every week at a new location.

Zumba Gold

with Sellyna

Experience Zumba Gold! This class is designed to be approachable by all populations, regardless of fitness level. Moves in class are broken down in a slow and manageable manner. The intention of the class is to move a little and have a lot of fun–even if you don’t perform each move perfectly.

Community Conversations Series

Join us for a roundtable discussion that begins with a suggested topic to get the conversation going, then participants guide the direction. Conversations are facilitated by George Dicks and emphasize the impact onour lives and overall health. These events take place at the GenPRIDECenter. Community Conversations are also held in West Seattle, Ballard, and Shoreline.

Old Lesbian Oral Herstory Project

Presented by The Old Lesbian Oral Herstory Project (OLOHP) and their interviews of lesbians 70 and older to document their life stories. Many were born during a time of compulsory heterosexuality and, often unamed, homophobia.

Rainbow Recreation

Lifelong Recreation and Seattle Parks

Lifelong Recreation and Seattle Parks and Recreation has partnered with Generations Aging with Pride to provide recreational opportunities to Seattle’s LGBTQ age 50+ community.

There is a small fee for classes, however, the Parks and Recreation Department has a generous scholarship program for LGBTQ older adults.
