Community Conversations – West Seattle

We are now partnering with Senior Center of West Seattle to bring an LGBTQ Community Conversation Series to their Center. The purpose is to gather with LGBTQ community members to share our voices and experiences. The theme for this second evening of Community Conversations is Passing the Torch, where the discussion as a group will be the relationship to the generations who follow us. This conversation will be led by Kevin O’Brien.
This group is for everyone associated with the LGBTQ (those that identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning/Queer) community and SOFFA (Significant Others, Friends, Family, and Allies). This friendly and welcoming age 50+ LGBTQ group will meet on Thursday, February 14 in the Senior Center of West Seattle’s newly remodeled cafe!
This group meets the Second Thursday of the month at the Center and starts with a happy hour. Social hour begins at 6pm. Dinner is 6:30, followed by Friends Remembered discussion. Dinner is free and wine is available for $4.
SCWS is at 4217 SW Oregon Street, which is on the southeast corner of California & Oregon. Entrance on Oregon Street. Three hours free parking is available in the Diamond parking lot across the alley from the Center. Enter their lot on 42nd between Oregon and Alaska.
